    Amazing Idea!

    These clear acrylic placemats are an amazing idea in theory. The fact that you can switch around the inserts and change your look is genius. Plus, they are easy to wipe clean. But in reality, they are so smooth and shiny that they are slippery. There is no friction, no fabric or texture, nothing to grip the plate, and when I was cutting my food, if I pressed too hard, the plate would slide around on the placemat. That is the reason for only 4 stars.
